"His mother said to the servers, 'Do whatever he tells you.'" — John 2:5
The mission of Our Mother’s Attic is to follow the example of Jesus Christ. This resale shop provides a warm, welcoming environment, where we work together to raise funds to support the ministries of St Vincent De Paul Church, primarily its Outreach ministries.
Our Mother’s Attic is staffed by caring volunteers dedicated to helping those in need. Working together they serve all who come into the shop. Their hands are God’s hands; their work is God’s work.

How You Can Help.

Spread the word.

We rely on the generosity of individuals, local businesses, and other churches to help us spread the word about the work we do to help those in need.

Read the article on our parish's Resale Shop that appeared in the Nov. 26, 2007 edition of the Daily Sun.

Donate needed items.

To ensure Our Mother’s Attic stocks items the public wants, we need your donations of furniture and household items. Please be generous and encourage your friends and neighbors to donate their treasures as well.

Volunteer.

Volunteering at Our Mother’s Attic is both rewarding and interesting. We need volunteers for a variety of jobs:
  • Team Leaders
  • Cashiers
  • Drivers for pick-ups and deliveries
  • Store assistants to keep the store clean and to price and display items for sale.
Please lend a hand and join us in this important ministry. Come and experience the joy of serving God by serving His people. To volunteer, simply call us or stop by the shop. Or you may send us your name, phone number, and the type of work you prefer, either to our mailing address or to our email address, and someone will contact you.

Items Needed.

We are always in need of the following donated items:
• Sofas and loveseats
• End tables and coffee tables
• Bedroom furniture
• Bar stools
• Desks
• Home décor items
• Jewelry
• Televisions/entertainment centers
• Dinette sets
• Kitchen tables and chairs
• Bookcases and shelving

All donations of clean, functioning and saleable items are greatly appreciated. Small items may be dropped off during our normal business hours at the store's rear entrance.

To arrange for a pick-up of furniture or large items, call the shop at (352) 689-0128.

Note: Our Mother’s Attic does not sell clothing. We suggest you donate clothing to one of the church-based thrift shops in the area.
