The Spiritual Friendship Club for developmentally disabled adults meets to pray and cultivate friendships.
Meetings are on Wednesdays from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. One week, catechists meet together to pray and meditate on the spiritual experience they will present to their friends. The next week, the friends join the catechists for crafts, scripture reading, sharing about Jesus in our lives; then we have a light snack.
If you have an interest in the club for someone in your family or if you can volunteer to be a helper catechist, please call Mariagnes Moran at 205-8966. Catechists require no special training; just bring a loving and open heart.
As you can see by the photos below, everyone, catechists and friends, has a wonderful time whenever we get together.
